This is a place where motherhood and infertility go hand-in-hand, where interior design mixes with the latest netflix binge, where words are used to cultivate emotion, connect, and encourage community

Everyday I get our twins off to school and rearrange furniture and grind coffee beans with our toddler and make beds and write stories and feel everything and take pictures and get lost in books and check Instagram and write essays and get the twins off the bus and weave wall hangings and design someone else’s house and have dance parties and prepare a chicken and kiss my husband and read more stories and watch the office. I had an itch to write when we found out we may not be able to have children. This blog started as an outlet, grew into a little community and inspired me to write a first draft of a novel.

“When your heart speaks, take good notes.” (Or start a blog) - quote by Judith Campbell
