That is the point where it started to sink in. It is kind of strange now that I am not worrying. I catch myself thinking that there should be something huge to stress about but then I realize that there is not.
This will take some getting used to but I think I am up to the challenge.
Friday night was a night to celebrate... celebrate that we are finally expecting and celebrate my twenty eighth birthday!
My family reads my blog. This is a huge plus when it comes to gifts as I received two items that I have posted about in the past and truly love...

ReplyDeleteI picked up some books from the thrift store. got the classics. WTE, Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy. So far I haven't quite found what I'm looking for but I only had to spend $2 a pop so not much of a risk in grabbing them. Was very weird not to pick up The Infertility Companion. I was intrigued by Maybe Baby so I got that too.

You are so wise not to buy into the crazy-making pregnancy books -- though I recall that WTE was helpful to have around as an occasional reference book. Wishing you a calmly chaotic journey through the next nine months and beyond.

ReplyDeleteI agree with the poster above that WTE was a great reference but these days you don't need to buy the book, the website will send you daily info & it's the same as what's in the book...there's also an iPhone app...
Congratulations on your pregnancy! I am also pregnant after IF, it is a surreal experience, hard to believe that it finally happened...Oh, and I 3rd the WTE books...awesome info.
