Hopeless: I think this book might have just changed my life

I was up until one thirty am Sunday morning, Saturday it was midnight, I have not slept all week.

This book was so much more than I expected. I don't know where to begin.

So I will just be honest. When I read the synopsis I thought it would likely be quick and entertaining. I did not expect to be pulled in so tightly that all I could think about was the two main characters. I might have been changing diapers and picking up food off of the floor but all I was thinking was how I needed to get my hands back on my kindle and keep on reading.

I cannot remember laughing, smiling, cringing and feeling like my heart has been torn apart ever... from reading just one book.

This is not a book about vampires, it is not full of smut, it just made me feel.

and it also made me question my approach to writing.

I do not endeavor to write like someone else, but what Colleen Hoover wrote and the way she wrote it, it just felt real, raw and exactly what I needed to read.

I am off, to re-read it... because when I tear through a book as good as this one I relish the second go, the go where I can relax because I know the sequence of events... it is when I savour.

just read it.

that is all.

  2. I had to come back and tell you I am reading this right now. At first I thought it was a bit teeny bopper but a few chapters in and I was hooked. I'm now almost finished and I've been up way to late the last few nights reading. can't.put.it.down.
